The Enlightened One – Gautama Buddha is created in collaboration with the Indian choreographer Kanak Rele from Nalanda Dance Reasearch Center, and was first performed at Ravindra Natya Mandir, Pradhadevi, Mumbai in February 2011.

The performance is a modern Indian adaptation about Siddhartha's journey toward becoming the Buddha. It stars 20 dancers from both India and Norway.
